A Message from the Executive Director

  From Susan McIlwain, Executive Director

Here we are, already in the month of May and our Art program is going strong.  We have already sponsored one Art Show at the Rosa Keller Library.  We have two more events coming soon.  One at the Algiers Library and at the end of May we will have Art displayed for sale at the Vega Tapas Cafe on Metairie Road.  All of these events have been made possible by a grant from the New Orleans Arts Council and our Artist Louise Johnson.  If you can’t make it to these events please feel free to come to the office and see a sampling of the Art that is being created there.  There is more information about this program in the “News” section.
